The organization when collecting the presented dishes was well thought out and implemented! Food was very good too

The economy is frequented by many locals because in my opinion it is one of the best in Rothenburg. The take-away dishes are also highly recommended!

Went to eat there last night. Everything fits there, service is great, the food is delicious, and the prices are great. Where else can you get a good portion and so delicious for € 10.90, had Schäufele and Cordon Bleu.

Were on vacation in the area and went to eat there twice. Very nice service and delicious food 👍

Not a star. Since we were looking forward to a nice weekend and were absolutely disappointed. Because of overbooking we would be hypocritically kicked out. Allegedly it was canceled by phone. Definitely not from us and even without email. Cheek without equal!

Unbelievable, the whole city is full, everyone wants lunch but the kitchen takes a short break until the afternoon. Nobody needs to worry about falling sales figures in corona times. They don't need it.

Friendly service, very tasty home-style cooking in large portions at moderate prices. Super soft meat for both the Schäufele (nice crust!) And the Sauerbraten. Highly Recommended.

Another rubbish restaurant that refuses to serve tourists. Stay clear!!

The restaurants were recommended to us by our guesthouse "The Rothenburgers also go there"! Large portions, very tasty (roast venison and sauerbraten so tender the madness) and that at a great price / performance ratio! We would love to come back again.

I ordered a chanterelle salad. It was very fresh and I liked it. Was just a little too much. The service was really friendly and you have a great view outside.

Very tasty dishes, the Schäufele is a dream, large portions, inn simply furnished everything clean, friendly service, good location, we wanted to order a table for lunch early in the morning that was not said, but in the inn were all tables reserved? We were lucky one was still free.

It took a long time, but when it arrived it was the best and biggest Cordon Bleu we have ever eaten !!! Super indicate! Super fair price!

You have to take some as they are. The regulars' table makes you think twice about whether it is the right place. The service makes it but by your sympathetic way away. The food is regional, sumptuous and delicious, the prices are very fair.

Service a disgrace. Two waiters walked straight past us waiting at the door and then when someone looked at us, we asked for a table for two and he shook his head and stormed off. Good luck.

The staff at our hotel (different place than the attached hotel) recommend this place as a local eat. The meal was on point! Best Bavarian food we had on our trip. (Bonus we were the only English speakers, always a good sign)

I loved! They treated us very well and we felt at home. Simple but beautiful. =)

Arrived at 17:45 informed about the menu, after which the waiter angrily tapped on his watch and said in German that they only have a menu starting from 18:00 after which he proceeded to turn around even though the place was empty. Mean while we're like. So we'll just leave or what?

I love the staff here; they are so friendly and helpful. Food is delicious, absolutely delectable breakfast and dinner. The rooms are clean and have plenty of space for a short stay. Wifi connectivity is sometimes iffy, but they have several networks for you to use. Definitely stay here if you are stopping by for a short trip in Rothenberg.

Great Franconia food!! Huge portions! Super yummy!

Plus: It was nice to have a hotel in the 'Old Town'. Rooms were clean and appear to have been renovated within the last 5 years. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast was standard (German) fare. Minus: Rooms are quite basic. The rest of the hotel could also use a revamp. Parking is very tight.

Four dishes that all were very well made. Fully booked with plenty that seems to be locals, which always is a good sign in a touristic town.
